My spelling may not be correct on the name, but I believe it's close. The drum community will probably yield best results My info came from the guys at explorers percussion, 80th Wornall Rd. in Kansas City, Mo. I'm hearing this guy makes some great shells. This is of interest to me since I own 2 Zickos sets , and used to build them with Bill Zickos, my friend and teacher. Ladies, Help! Nail Salon for Acrylic Nails??? Dallas TX?
I give up Ladies, help me, please I moved here 5 months ago and have gone to 6 different places in Dallas TX in search of normally priced nail salon that can do a good job with acrylic nails. So far, it's been mediocre at best. I'll admit, I AM somewhat picky about how my nails look, but, then again, if we're paying for it we should get what we want, right?I need a place and or nail technician capable of shorter more natural looking i.e. thin delicate looking, squared off, with thin white tip, etc acrylics that won't lift and aren't so weak fragile that they break super easy.I care more about the work they do then how much they charge, so I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest deal in town, nor the most expensive, but if they do the job right, I'm happy to spend up to $40 for a simple fill. It doesn't need to be a spa, or some uppity hair salon that also does nails, but, I'll happily go there if they're the best place for nails...PLEASE, just tell me where to go THXSo far I've been to LA Nail & Spa on Preston Ave was going to guy named Steve, and super happy with his work, but he left at the end of Dec... when I phoned for my last apt with him the manager who answered booked me with my guy, then after I got there she decided to informed me he no longer worked there The new people who work there gave me the worst nails of my life Ugh... Beverly Hills Nail & Spa lifting after a week Hollywood Nails ... the list goes on. I can't even remember the names of some of them.I should mention that every place I've gone I have made it a point go back at least twice since I appreciate that there is a learning curve with new clients.
